Welcome to Linn Valley Lakes!

Our population is 960 and growing!  We are a private gated recreational residential community!  You can live where you play!  Located just 40 minutes south of the Kansas City Metro Area right off 69 highway, we are close, but not too close to the city.  We have something for everyone!  Fishing, boating, swimming, golfing and more!  Our community offers a wide variety of year-round recreational activities and events.

The Property Owners Association is located at the front gate in the Community Center.  Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm (closed 12:00pm-12:30pm for lunch) and Saturday's 8:30am-1:00pm.  We are open summer holidays and closed on winter holidays.  If you have questions our phone number is 913-757-4591 or contact us through email.

We have the most beautiful 18 hole golf course for everyday golfers and tournaments.  Call the Pro Shop 913-757-4597 for weekend tee times.


Four cabins are available for rent by the property owners.  The campground offers 30 and 50 amp pull through sites.  All sites include water and sewer. 

Yes, there are lots for sale!  There is something for everyone at Linn Valley Lakes.  Take a day trip down, drive around and get a feel for the area.  This is really a great quick get-a-way for the entire family!

Deer Trace Golf Course Board of Directors Update December 2024

2024 has been a busy year at Deer Trace. We have reopened the Restaurant with new management (Jerry and Pam Taylor), a revamped menu and many positive reviews. Their specialty nights have been highly popular. We were also able to implement the Square POS system for both the Restaurant and Pro Shop, improving the customer experience and allowing us to accurately track sales, inventory and player rounds (something we did with pencil and paper in the past). We look forward to the Taylor’s building on this success with some exciting new updates for 2025. 
In early summer, we brought on Katie Murray as Director of Golf. Katie’s impact has been felt with improved customer service and attention to the financial details. Katie continues to have a positive impact and has been instrumental with input on fee structure, golf event scheduling and pricing as well as oversight of player experience. Katie has also developed a great working relationship with the Taylor’s allowing employees to be cross-trained in departments. We look forward to continued improvement in 2025.

NOTICE

The Nominating Committee of Linn Valley Lakes Property Owners Association is accepting resumes for the 2025 Board of Directors election.  There will be two (2) positions - Position 1 (3-year term) and Position 5 (1-year term) - on the 2025 Annual Meeting Ballot.

          Currently, Position 1 is held by Mike Meister and Position 5 is held by Doug Liljegren who was appointed by the Board of Directors.

          The Nominating Committee asks if you are interested in running for a Directors position, to please submit your Resume to the Property Owners Association Office by December 16, 2024 – 9:00am.  You may drop your resume off at the POA Office or you may email your resume to [email protected] and it will be forwarded to the Nominating Committee.
